Oncologist "Jackals among Men"
If there is any medical treatment that ranks down there with
psychotherapy as quack medicine, it is chemotherapy. Although it can be
helpful in cases of testicular cancer and lymphocytic leukeniia,
chemotherapy is basically fraudulent and illogical.
How in the world can
oncologists think they are treating rationally when their so-called
therapy is destroying the immune system? Sure, the tumor may shrink-
because its immunity is being attacked as well. So it becomes a race as
to which will kill the patient first: the cancer or the treatment? Yet,
oncologists are fanatical that they say chemotherapy should be employed
EVEN IF WE KNOW IT DOESN'T WORK!
One leading oncologist remarked that "chemotherapy serves an extremely
valuable role in keeping patients oriented toward proper medical
therapy. Judicious employment and screening of potentially useful
drugs may also prevent the spread of cancer quackery." This is a
preposterous statement.
Treating a patient with advanced cancer with
toxic drugs that you know will not work, and will increase the suffering
of the patient, is the essence of quackery. Even the doctors know there
is no cure.
When asked why patients never hear the "C" word and are told instead,
"You have a tumor," the author of a book on disease disclosure said that
deception is necessary so that patients will not "begin hunting about
for that will-o'-the-wisp that is a cancer cure." So, you see, the
doctors have given up, on a cure for cancer. They know their drugs are
often worse than useless but feel they must be given anyway to keep
patients out of the hands of "a charlatan who promises results while he
impoverishes the family."
Well, how is this for impoverishing the farnily? A course of ifosfamide,
one of mainstream medicine's killer drugs, cost (in 1995) $10,000 for a
five-day course. And that's only for the drug and so does not include
the doctor's fee, all the hospital between suspecting danger from a
costs, and the costs of treating the horrible side effects. Not to
mention that there are usually two other expensive drugs pre scribed at
the same time. All this can easily run up a bill of a million dollars.
That's quite a sum to keep a quack from "impoverishing the family."
To better understand the utter hypocrisy of chemotherapy, consider the
following:
The McGill Cancer Center in Canada, one of the largest and most
prestigious cancer treatment centers in the world, did a study of
oncologists to deterrnine how they would respond to a diagnosis of
cancer. On the confidential questionnaire, 58 out of 64 doctors said
that all chemotherapy programs were unacceptable to them and their
family members. The overriding reason for this decision was that the
drugs are ineffective and have an unacceptable degree of toxicity. These
are the same doctors who will tell you that their chemotherapy
treatments will shrink your tumor and prolong your life!
It takes one to know one
Oncologist James Holland once stated: "My definition of cancer quackery
is the deliberate misapplication of a diagnostic or treatment procedure
in a patient with cancer. ... The culprit who victimizes his fellow man
suffering from cancer... all the while greedily enriching himself, is a
quack, a criminal, a jackal among men who deserves the scorn and
ostracism of society. Because human life is at stake, he must be
controlled."
Of course, Dr. Holland is not referring to his colleagues and himself
but instead to all other doctors offering alternatives to the
ferociously toxic chemotherapy drugs. Certainly, there are quacks in the
alternative-cancer-treatment field. But by Dr. Holland's own definition,
every oncologist is a quack. Thirty years ago, I worked with a
radiologist who told me this: "If I get cancer, I'm going to Mexico."
So if you get cancer, don't call your doctor; call your travel agent.
There are alternative treatments available, but you will have to run the
gamut of outraged chemotherapists, radiologists, and surgeons to find
one. They will use cajolery, insults, fear, threats ("If you do this, I
am off the case"), and misrepresentation to dissuade you.
Two excellent clinics offering alternative treatments are the
following:
Burton Clinic in the Bahamas
P.O. Box 42689
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Tel. (242)352-7455, Fax (242)352-3201, www.iatclinic.com
Burzynski Clink in Houston, TX
9432 Old~Katy Rd. lot mote expensive.
Houston, TX 77055
Tel.(713)335-5697, Fax (713)335-5699, www.cancermed.com
Also, doctors affiliated with The American College for Advancement in
Medicine may be able to provide a promising therapy called
photochemotherapy-in which a small portion (a glassful) of blood is
withdrawn from the patient's vein, exposed to ultraviolet light and then
injected back into the patients body. Read "Questioning Chemotherapy",
by Ralph Moss, Equinox Press. This book is a must for all concerned
about this medical scandal. A chamber of Horrors that doctors don't
want to talk about.
