Several people have chosen to greatly simply the automated feeding of small plots. A low volume pump and a ZERO psi valve is all that is needed. One more item needed is a timer of sorts. This system is controlled by a simple program that controlls via the parallel port. The program allows time entries to be typed into a database. To differentiate between on and off times, the word "ON" or "OFF" is typed into a status field.
