Some have added various ingredients to suit their tastebuds and make it more appealing and tasty. I have avoided doing this because if it was intended to be the best tasting trail mix it would have several ingredients added already. This mixture was developed to fill the nutritional, energy, fiber, and amino acid need of all humans. If you simply want a tasty mix then add whatever you wish. In so doing, very likely you will add some less than diserable foods. In addition, most items will have been tampered with by man. This results in additives that border on being poison.
